Absolute Phrases

Lesson: Absolute phrases: Reviewed verb forms, participial phrases. The absolute phrase is like a participial phrase with a subject. Whereas participles and participial phrases function as adjectives, absolute phrases modify the entire clause or sentence. Activity: Sentence scrambles.
